FRIDAY, NOV. 3: OPENING NIGHT
Nov. 3-19, 2017
Thurs., Fri. & Sat. @ 7:30**pm & Sun @ 2PM
In a Berlin nightclub, as the 1920’s draw to a close, a garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the CABARET. With the Emcee’s bawdy songs as wry commentary, CABARET explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Cliff, a young American writer newly arrived in Berlin, is immediately taken by English singer Sally Bowles. Meanwhile, Fräulein Schneider, proprietor of Cliff and Sally’s boardinghouse, tentatively begins a romance with Herr Schultz, a mild-mannered fruit seller who happens to be Jewish. Musical numbers include “Willkommen,” “Cabaret,” “Don’t Tell Mama” and “Two Ladies.” *Adult themes and language **Don’t forget the new start time: Fri & Sat @ 7:30PM** (Sun stays the same @ 2PM)

Set in a theatre, Inspecting Carol deals with a regional theatre company that is rehearsing its annual production of A Christmas Carol, its cash cow, when it gets news of the impending arrival of an inspector from the National Endowment for the Arts to review their work. The actor playing Tiny Tim gets a better offer and leaves the production in the lurch. When an aspiring actor of somewhat questionable talent arrives to audition, he is mistaken for the inspector and given the part of the child actor. The company goes on to stage an accident filled, error laden production of their play. **Don’t forget the new start time: Fri & Sat @ 7:30PM** (Sun stays the same @ 2PM)
